Challenge Posted, Do You Accept?

How's It All Work?
Too often we jump on our computer, upload a few images, click a few likes, send a text, watch our favorite flicks without giving a second thought to “How Does It All Work?” Well, before that next flip of the switch give pause to the wonderment behind binary, it’s all zero’s and one’s baby! On/off, voltage or no voltage, it’s simple flow that gives rise to all the wonderful first world conveniences we use each and everyday. Computer coding doesn’t have to be scary nor intimidating. Doesn’t have to be for adults nor males. It’s a world that doesn’t discriminate but on the other hand offers a willing participant the opportunity to express themselves in yet another form of expression.

This is where you come in. Check out the latest challenge post we’ve set up for you near the children section of the new library. From time to time we’ll be posting different challenges to engage our patrons in a different form of learning. This one is all about binary. Walk on over. Follow the few instructions. And seek the circulation desk with your answer! Challenge posted, do you accept? (all ages welcome)
