Gone are the days of wondering what the “new” library will look like. Patrons have come and gone, checked in and out books, graced the beautiful wood flooring with their loyal soles, yet as a Public Library we continue to strive to improve. While to the patron that walks through the doors we service with a smile and most facilities are available to them we are continually jotting down a list of projects that need completion and ways to further improve your library going experience. We’ve heard your suggestions and thank you during this time we try to improve upon them giving you a space you and your children for years can be proud of. From a paved parking lot, to better signage, that mysterious missing water fountain, down to more shelving to include more books, and continually offering informative programming, we look forward to what the future will bring.
For those that haven’t yet taken in the amazing work everyone has put in so far here are some snapshots of where we are today. Each a moment in time that will only be here for the now, but building in even more functionality, greater aesthetics, and a seeing a vision become reality one step at a time.
