Summer Reading Week 3 Recap: “Yoga”

July 25, 2016 By Salmon Library Staff Leave a Comment

On Your Mark, Get Set.....
After a first few weeks of moving the kids around, this week it was time to slow down. Learning the basic forms of Yoga from our wonderful volunteer Kit Kauffman from Yoga 4 You in town was a great addition to the Summer Reading Activity lineup. Before she imparted some Zen on even the youngest of participants they prepared their beings by the calming art of origami. Learning to fold, crease, and create, helped stimulate the mind-body connection that was seen later on in the program by having to bend, mold, and be during the Yoga session.

Classes are full, fun is at a high, but there is always room for more! Come by every Wednesday at 1pm to see what the Salmon Public Library is up to in this years Summer Reading Program theme, “On Your Mark Get Set, Read” Next week is a fun mystery surprise!
