A Great End To Successful Program
The end of summer can signal a lot of different emotions. No more summer vacations, camping, rafting, biking, all drying up in turn for another winter and school year. While this can depress some, we have some exciting news to present to you about the conclusion of a fantastic Summer Reading Program. This year our program was headed up by Stephanie Taylor who took on the challenge of her first Summer Reading and steadied the ship to masterful heights. At the conclusion of the program we saw the participants engage in Zumba, Yoga, Aerobics, Crossfit, all sorts of arts and crafts as well as knock their reading goals out of the water.
*There were 67 Pre K, Elementary, Jr & Sr High School participants
*1076 of 1079 books got completed
*4320 of 5140 minutes got read by family readers
A stunning performance by our community! Congrats at keeping the summer learning loss to a minimum and hopefully you're all oiled up for the new school year.
Here are some highlights of the prize ceremony by those who completed their goals and achieved their minutes. Young readers excitedly picking out brand new books to take home and create their very own library.
See you next summer!
