Short, but Sweet
We could have all used more time with Christian and Nicole on Saturday night, but that is the sound excuse from a duo that performed to it’s utmost capabilities. Surrounded by the warm glow of a few vestibule lights, Christian Winn & local Nicole Cullen did what they do best, read their gift. Each has an ability to capture an audience with a story and give value to a lost art of writing. With technology being so present in everyone’s life now aday, it was comforting to be able to sit, undisturbed for a few moments and listen.
What they shared with the Salmon audience on Saturday night was far beyond the stories they write, but the gave credence to the value of our town, the west, and how it plays into the bigger picture of life. For a breath, we were alive, on the map, part of the story. We’re gratefully to the Salmon Arts Council for helping to get this event here to our town and more then grateful to our two presenters who so eloquently read, answered questions, and spent as much time as they could with local authors, mentoring, encouraging and sharing their wisdom with.
See you all next time!
