Sometimes a gift arrives in you lap and there is nothing to do but be gracious and just accept it. Other times you have to work hard to make magic happen and make it look easy. With the recent addition of TWO little libraries it was the latter. Stephanie had visited Boise during a Library conference and through that meeting ran into Greg White from the IdahoStatesman. Through this connection a conversation was had where two old free newspaper vending machines were available for the taking.
Quick thinking Stephanie jumped at the opportunity and secured us and Lemhi County two weather proof beautiful vending machines that we can now turn into Free Little Libraries of Lemhi! All they need is a little TLC and before you know it, other parts of hard to reach Lemhi county will be blessed with book selections regularly filled for your reading pleasure. We’re so excited to bring this opportunity to our district we can’t hardly wait. Stay tuned as we get these beauties refurbished and polished for their county debut. Thanks again to Greg at the Statesman for providing an opportunity and not letting something that might ordinarily be thrown out into another’s treasure.
