GreenScreen Challenge
Each year libraries celebrate Teen Tech Week in some individual fashion. We’ve been tasked with doing so under this year’s theme of “Be The Source Of Change”. On March 8th we’ll be heading to the Salmon High School to promote this challenge we’re presenting to our teens to see if their up for accepting. Using Salmon Public Libraries new Recording Studio, we’ll be asking each Teen to make their way down to the Salmon Public Library during the week of March 13th-17th in order to do a quick video in front of our greenscreen. They can work alone or as a group, but the goal is to use the DoInk ipad app and film themselves answering one question in front of a greenscreen. Depending on how they answer this question they will be then tasked with finding a correlating video or still image on the internet to replace the greenscreen footage as they speak. Later the Library will tabulate all the responses and make a powerful youth video showcasing the voice of our students.
It’s really as easy as that. So if you know a teen that you would like to participate tell them! Send them to the library the week of March 13th-17th from the hours of 4:00PM-6:00PM to do a little recording and let their voice be heard! See you there.
