LIBRARY RECAP: “Dr Seuss Came Alive”

March 2, 2017 By Salmon Library Staff Leave a Comment

Happy Birthday To You!
Wednesday’s Pre-School reading hour saw a heightened sense of enthusiasm surrounding Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Who doesn’t remember the classic rhyming pattern that he brought to life? It’s something that translates generations and here we are with another set of pre-schoolers at our program waiting to be introduced to this wonderful children’s author.

Stephanie Taylor brought this wonderful character to life with a crowd pleasing performance of reading into an engaging arts and crafts activity. Each person took home their very own Dr Seuss bag along with a Cat in the Hat they made. The library was full of energy and buzzing with excitement, something that was probably occurring nationwide. We’re so thankful to all who came out and Dr Seuss himself would have been pleased knowing how many hearts and minds he’s touched and inspired. Check out some photos below of the morning.
