Week 1 Of Summer Reading Build A Better World
This past Wednesday saw a great turnout for our first Making Activity at the Park in conjunction with Summer Reading and Maker Camp. We had 48 kids show up along with parents fostering their creativity spirits building anything and everything with Cardboard. We used MakeDo cardboard screws and duct tape to fasten cardboard clothing, houses, and abstract designs. The kids had a blast and so did we. Each week this month we’ll be putting on some form of Maker Activity on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:00PM. Meet us at the Salmon Public Library to participate! Remember before hand we’re partnering with Lemhi’s After School Promise and their Summer Food Program feeding all kids from 0-18 for FREE from 12:00-12:30 at the library. Stop by for some food, fun, and Maker Activities. Here are some highlights below of what Week 1 brought!
