LIBRARY PROGRAM: “IMPROVE – Redesign as Needed”

Last week we had a small but productive class. We developed scale 3D models of our slides to which during our next class IMPROVE, we’ll do just that, see if there are improvements to our designs. We’ll then take these designs and figure out how to get them into the computer in a 3D model that we can use our 3D printer to bring out. Going full circle from concept to model in hand, ready to develop a plan of action around to gather funding for their design. What a great experience for these young minds. I’m so thrilled that we got to be the shepherds to this design thinking journey for them and look forward to bringing it back next year with different twists and turns! So for our last class, join us, August 28th on IMPROVE and see where it leads. It doesn’t matter that you haven’t attended the previous classes, let’s get a new flock of students in and build momentum for the school year and next summer! 11am-12pm for #MakerMonday
