During last week’s Friday Fablab STEM class our students learned all about the Solar Eclipse! They had to measure distances from the Earth to the moon and the Earth to sun. They figured out with this scale the sun would be twice as big as the Hospital and as far away as the courthouse. With each new discovery there was a new revelation about how immense our universe really is. They made pinhole boxes and played with the telescope showing exactly what they’d see on Monday and how it all works. So happy we were able to shed a little “light” onto the subject!
