On Friday September 22nd, Salmon Public Library with help from Idaho STEM Action Center brought a STEAM Professional Development workshop to Salmon, ID. With facilitators, Deana BrownKate Radford from Boise and Liza Martin from Glenns Ferry Middle School we were able to create an inspiring atmosphere jam packed with STEAM & Design Thinking ideas for our local Educators to take back to the classroom. We were supported by two amazing MakerEd VISTA Volunteers, Francesca & Jesse thanks to Maker Education Initiative
We’re also grateful for some of our other sponsors such as STEMfinity supplying a number of STEM tools for this workshop as well as Odd Fellows who provided an amazing breakfast!
We look forward to continue to bring more educational opportunities to our community in the form of workshops and outreach as well as continuing our STEM programming! Don’t hesitate to reach out and see how we can help!
