
Tim Craig is a retired Wildlife Biologist. During his career he worked for many state, federal and private organizations in Alaska and the western US. He was a long-time resident of Lemhi County.

“The Life History of the Golden Eagle”
One of our largest raptors, this holarctic species is known as the king of birds. Humans have had a paradoxical relationship with golden eagles, at once killing them to protect livestock, but at the same time recognizing their power, nobility and beauty by using them as national emblems. Today, some populations of golden eagles are declining, largely due to changes in habitat. Learn about the life history of the golden eagle and the threats that they face in the modern world.
