“The Raptors of East Central Idaho”
Twenty-seven species of raptors nest in East Central Idaho and two others are transient migrants. These include two of North American’s largest raptors, the Golden and Bald Eagle, and two of the smallest, the Sharp-shined Hawk and the American Kestrel. Seventeen of these raptors are diurnal. Come and learn which inhabit our area, how to identify them and tidbits about their basic biology.
