Acoustics No More
The library is often the recipient of wonderful projects from our community, whether it be through volunteer donation of time to Senior projects. This project comes to us through the Eagle Scouts candidate Johnny Simmons. He wanted to help the echoing noise of the high cathedral like ceilings in the library so we tasked him with creating panels of insulation and fabric to dampen the sound.
He organized, built, and crafted 12 panels to be hung in between the lights at the library. Here are a few photo highlights of him finishing the job. Stop by to check them out. We’re happy & grateful to have such a giving community.
