Finalizing our prototypes
Salmon Public Library’s, Switch program has successfully finished their five month pilot project with the 8th Grade class at Fern Waters Public Charter on design thinking. We asked the two teams to “solve a problem in their new school.” They empathized, defined, brainstormed and prototyped their way to potential solutions.
We then asked that they film a crowdfunding video in order to raise money for their potential solution, engaging their entrepreneurship spirit.
One of those teams is represented below. These students worked hard, pushed themselves outside their normal learning comfort zone and engaged in the process. We’re so proud of the work they accomplished. If you have the opportunity to donate, they would surely appreciate it.
