Salmon Public Library recently got to attend the Maker Faire in San Mateo along with additional conferences in the bay area and play at Exploratorium. (highly recommend). Maker Education Initiative brought along some of their success stories of Making Spaces national HUBS in an effort to highlight bringing more making into the classrooms. Idaho STEM Action Center one of those HUBS, presented on the success of engaging Idaho Rural communities on #STEM education and Making in the classroom through the statewide work of Francesca Bessey and Jeff Stratter.
What an amazing opportunity and a good group of people to be around
