How much fun are these? Pioneer Elementary School 3D printed solutions to problems identified in Meriah Schauss Baker English class reading City of Ember. Last month Switch had outreach programs to teach the students a little bit about #designthinking and how to work through problem solving methodology. After a few weeks of work on Tinkercad and using Flashforge 3D printer provided through Idaho STEM Action Center grants we see the results of their work.
All the displays are hosted in the junior section of the library for your visiting eyes to marvel at. Fantastic work by all which saw loads of engagement and excitement from the students. Cross curricular Maker Education Initiative can take place in any subject matter!
