LIBRARY UPDATE: “Speaking on Rural at ALA”

Was honored to be invited by Nation of Makers ED, Dorothy Jones-Davis, to attend American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington DC to speak on their Rural Makerspace panel. We had close to 100 attendees participating and engaging in the conversation surrounding rural communities

Loved seeing that our Library was already added to Nation of Makers map prior to attending! Apparently holding down everything west of the Mississippi in fact.

Overall it was a whirlwind, overwhelming, but a great experience! Looking forward to more opportunities to shed light on a growing movement! ThanksSTEMfinity for representing Idaho as well by sharing your knowledge and passion for STEM tools with librarians across the nation.
