LIBRARY PROGRAM: “Summer Camp for Coding!”

Summer of Code

Summer of code is back in your life! This FREE coding boot camp is one week long for 90 minutes a day aimed at youth 11-16.

August 5th – 9th, 10:00AM – 11:30AM

Taught by volunteer Mike Albrecht, retired Navy fighter pilot and computer scientist giving back to his community in the service of educating the youth.

We’ll explore a variety of different hands on, engaging, project based learning activities all the while learning the coding language of python. Python coding language is an in demand skill set serving 21st century needs.

Code a Visual Solar System, Make a Stop Motion Animation Studio, Create structures in Minecraft while having fun with your peers.

This class is LIMITED to the first 10 youth that sign up. Sign up’s are now available at Salmon Public Library (front desk)
