Future Scientists

Summer of Code – Day 3: A good teacher adjusts their practice. We saw the result of that with smiling faces on Day 3. Or was it the introduction of the Raspberry Pi cameras? Either way, we had a blast making stop-motion animation machines with the group.

Each student brought in things from home or used in house LEGO to create short animated films with their python code. SPACE to shoot, ESC to compile.

Loved seeing some students working together to create a collaborative movie! We’ll be posting those videos in a separate post for all to see. Hopefully, we can get one of these machines built for our children’s section. Thanks Exploratorium for the inspiration.
