LIBRARY UPDATE: “Hour of Power – Mural Project Completed”

October 10, 2019 By Salmon Library Staff Leave a Comment

Pioneer Elementary Outreach

How amazing is this mural?! We’re so proud to be able to present the results of this wonderful collaboration between the Salmon Public Library, their STEAM program Switch and 5th Grade Class at Pioneer Elementary.

These students put in a lot of hard work learning to scale their artwork in order to create a wonderful mural that dawns the halls on the Pioneer Elementary. Please stop by and check it out in person and let the students know how great they did!

The students were so engaged in this process and their investment shows through manifesting their own values for the school year with the language the kindness monsters use in the artwork.

Can’t wait to see how this program evolves. Meriah Schauss Baker & Jane Knoll Feldhausen have been fabulous partners in helping to coordinate these efforts. And couldn’t have done this one without the creative, inspiring volunteer, Janet Wiles
