LIBRARY PROGRAM: “SPARK – Landing Gear”

This Friday, SPARK (Our Junior Exploration of STEM topics) will be Landing Gear. How is it possible to launch a small probe into the depths of outpace and have it land safely on another planet? Well LOTS of reasons, but one of the keys to success is designing appropriate landing gear for the model of probe your launching. Using the least amount of weight in materials but still getting it safely to land in it’s destination. It’s a puzzle engineers struggle with daily. Come join us for this hands on program Friday where we attempt to create landing gear for our Mars Rovers!
