LIBRARY UPDATE: “Rounding Out the Year”

2019 saw a lot of wonderful "Maker" moments for our library and Switch program. We partnered with Pioneer Elementary for a Power Hour of STEAM. Rocked it with the juniors during Spark! Taught Raspberry Pi's over the summer. And did a whole lot of tinkering in between.

We always like to end the year in this case decade with a celebration of Making during our Holiday Maker night. This night was no different. Held a little later in the month, we saw some loyal locals show up to support this wonderful event which hosted circuit thread sewing station to make your own stockings, green screen holiday photos, large Makey Makey piano playing Xmas tunes, and circuits to light up Rudolph's nose. Oh did we mention that the little's had salt dough ornaments to paint as well!
