Making Pattern BLocks on Friday! A simple activity, TONS of replay value. How do we know? Normally mindless online computer games rule the library. However, after this particular activity, we noticed the impact hands-on engagement can have. A participant of the class tried to encourage other students to play the blocks they made after the class instead of gaming. Saaaay what now? Not saying we toppled the addictive allure of the online gaming, but a crack in the armor was definitely spotted.
