LIBRARY UPDATE: “Butterfly Effect”

May 1, 2020 By Salmon Library Staff Leave a Comment

Butterfly Effect
This week’s design challenge is brought to you by the Salmon Arts Council #butterflyeffect project.
Check out the links below for some awesome video tutorials on drawing different kids of butterflies from Art for Kids Hub:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLWNOafqfh0

Once you’ve learned the basics, we’d like you to give your butterfly a personal spin: can you create a butterfly drawing that represents a favorite book you’ve read during your time at home? Here’s our Gryffindor butterfly based on the Harry Potter series 🙂
Post your butterfly in your window at home – OR drop off your butterfly project (don’t forget to write your name) in the Salmon Library book drop today or tomorrow and we’ll display it in our window on Main Street!
For more information about the #butterflyeffect project, visit the Salmon Arts Council Facebook page.
