Update to Services
As of Monday 05/16, we will be expanding our current services to include the following:
*Newspaper/Magazine Reading Area will be open to patrons, with limited seating spaced 6 ft. apart. Newspapers and magazines will be available for browsing. Patrons are asked to observe physical distancing guidelines and proper hand hygiene while browsing/reading in this area.
*Independent Work/Study Tables in the southwest corner of the library will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for patrons who wish to use personal electronic devices or complete work — one person per table. A one-hour time limit for use of these tables will enforced in cases where there is high demand.
*We will continue to offer walk-in and curbside check-out as well as print/copy/scan/fax and limited reference services during our service hours of M-F 10am-4pm. Computers are also available on a first-come, first-served basis, or you may call ahead to reserve a computer slot. Our Virtual Story Hour and weekly STEM posts will continue as scheduled!
*PLEASE NOTE: Unattended children under 10 are not permitted in the library or in the reading/computer areas at this time.
As always, patrons are encouraged to take steps to protect themselves and others, including washing hands before and after your visit, wearing a face covering and refraining from visiting if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms.
These policies will be in effect through May 31, at which point we will evaluate additional service options for Phase 3. Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility during this time as we work to figure out the best ways to serve you, our community!
