Outreach
Salmon Public Library has had an eventful start to summer. Here a few highlights:
- Outreach with Lemhi’s After School Promise where Erin featured process art, literally focusing on the process over the product. They made shirts filled with fun paint and listen to stories told by Patrick Mitchell, The Down To Earth Dad who was coming through town. He taught kids how to listen to stories and ask good questions to get the story to continue!
- Erin also spent time over at Summer Creek Farm Goods painting signs and handkerchiefs with process art as well.
- Dave Holcomb stopped by to put on a puppet show for our StoryTime listeners.
- Got schooled up in Boise at the Idaho Commission for Libraries – ICfL Creative Aging Conference.
- And still had some time to head over the Lemhi County Farmers Market and read stories to kids of all ages.
