[July 10th] Summer Reading

Yesterday was a huge success here at the Salmon Public Library! We had nearly 60 attendees at our first Summer Reading Program of the year. We also had the help of about 10 volunteers without whom none of this would have been possible, thank you all! Mr. Allen Marquette was our special guest, and his amazing rock collection was the star of the show! Allen even had rack specimen who were light refractive and reflective. He even had a few that put off fluorescent light! In the small room we made pet rocks by creating, painting, and embellishing rocks I found in my backyard! Fun was had by all, and we all got to take home a beautiful rock! Thank you Allen and Ramona!
