Summer Reading Week 4 Recap: “Aerobics”

Week 4 completes our Summer Reading Program Activity portion of this years theme, “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!”Judy Barkley came in and put these kids through their final test. Using rubber bands to stretch, arms to toes, giving them a full workout of the body, while our determined staff Stephanie Taylor continued to press their minds checking the participants overall book reading goals.

Lots of students have hit their 50% mark so WAY TO GO, earning them a pool pass! And boy do we need it as Idaho is getting HOT. We’re so incredible thankful for all this years instructors that came in and used their years of knowledge and experience to engage our little learners. And even more thankful to those little learners that showed up week in and week out to get their body moving. We had on average 22 students show up each week to join in on the fun, making this year’s summer reading program activity portion a huge success. We aren’t quite done with the reading portion yet, so keep checking out books and logging those minutes as it will all count towards your final goal and getting invited to the final party.
