Fun, Learning, and bonding
Last week, Stephanie, Loretta, and Jeff, staff at the Salmon Public Library got the good fortune of attending the ILA (Idaho Library Association) annual conference held in Idaho Falls. During the days of learning by amazing presenters and nights filled with staff bonding time, Salmon Public Library staff is looking forward to begin to incorporate more interesting ideas, programming, and community interaction in the future.
Not only did we further our knowledge on Makerspaces, pre-school reading/activities, summer reading advancements, marketing, young family programming, but we did so with the staff of Leadore library! Lemhi county was well represented to bring back all sorts of knowledge to input into the upcoming year. We made new connections with other libraries, networked with vendors, and showed off our new home. The Idaho community of libraries was and is proud to have the Lemhi country district libraries in their network and it’s thanks to the patrons that make up our wonderful community.
