Recognized for hardwork
Every year Salmon Valley Stewardship honors one person or organization during their annual fundraising event, Harvest Fest with the David Krosting Award. This award was created to memorialize the contributions of a beloved individual in our community. The award represents three categories, Economic Impact, Community Building, and Environmental Sustainability. The Salmon Public Library was awarded as this year’s receiptant largely in part to it’s contribution to it’s community. The library plays a vital role within our community providing a centralized hub of friendly staff, hardworking administration and dedicated board to meet and serve all our communities needs. From outreach of Pre-schools to Senior Citizens and internal educational opportunities, our library is a destination of more then a stellar book collection, but a resource for all to use. Throwing in the additional asset of a community built building that already presents itself as a focal point on main street, will remain a visual representation of information, tools, and resources for years to come.
We are so grateful and honored to be this years winners and will continue to offer the great services and staffing we have in the past. Thank you to all who made it out this event, making it a special moment for us at Salmon Public Library. We look forward to serving you in the future!!
