Today the curious kids came into the library ready to read books that cover our wide world. One story was about the moon and the universe, another about the snails who carry their homes upon their backs. Thanks Marii for volunteering this week. She was such a great voice behind the books and leader for our activity today. The kids jumped right into creating a little craft that shows a perspective of their place in the world, starting with ourselves, our home, our community of Salmon, the big cities, our state, and then our wonderful world.
We need more people to volunteer to read and lead in an activity each week. To become a volunteer please stop by the library as ask? Preschool Reading Hour is each week at 10 am. This is a great opportunity to have an impact in the life of a young child and to meet other parents.
Volunteers can also email francesca.salmonmakers@gmail.com
