LIBRARY UPDATE: “Earth Day – Make It Build”

April 23, 2018 By Salmon Library Staff Leave a Comment

Recycled Reuse Reduce
In celebration of Earth Day 2018, Switch teamed up with Salmon Valley Stewardship to get youth Making with a purpose. They designed trash pickers from recycled material in order to be stewards of their land. It’s incredible to see youth being engaged by hands on activities then being empowered enough to go out and DO something about it. If these youth are any example of what is to come for the future of the planet then we’re happy to continue to feed this enthusiasm!

Check out these awesome teens in action!
