Our third Summer Reading program focuses on exploration. What would it be like to explore a place you’ve never been? What would you need? How would you get around?
Come join us on:
Wednesday, July 24th, 12:00PM
as we will be building rubber band powered rovers and experimenting with how to improve the design. We’ll also have a drop in special guest Dr. Nancy Yamasaki to tell us about the 2020 mission to Mars. Kids can also learn more about an exciting opportunity to add their name to a microchip that will be on board the Mars rover.
We can’t forget about the PreK youth who will also do some exploring of their own, but this time with sensory touch. Utilizing balloons filled with different materials, each giving their own unique feel.
As always we’ll be kicking off the program before hand with the wonderful free Summer Lunch program for youth (1-18) at noon thanks to Lemhi’s After School Promise, Inc..
See you there!
